What are your favorite meat-free snacks around World Showcase? DH and I are vegetarian, but we do eat milk/eggs/cheese/butter. Looking for some snack ideas :goodvibes

We LOVE School Bread (ok, I love School Bread...DH just splits it with me if I really want it :goodvibes) and those little fruit tart things... but that's about all we have tried!

What are your favorites that are DO NOT MISS??? :thumbsup2

Hey there SD!

Looking for some no meat treats huh? :thumbsup2 No problem!

I would recommend going to the America Pavilion and getting a funnel cake ... very yummy and all it needs is a little powdered sugar! I would also suggest stopping in France for some crepes! popcorn::

Both items are in little booths located off to the side of the walkway in their respective countries! There are also some ... adult beverages which are very nice!

Lots of people rave about the gelato in Italy ... I've never had it but there are tons of people who give it two thumbs up ... oh, and a nice soft pretzel in Germany is nice as well ... maybe a little mustard!!! YUMMY! :woohoo:

Hope it helps!!!

The caramel shop in Germany was amazing, and I really liked the kaki gori in Japan. It's fruit flavored ice but so refreshing on a hot day.

A good choice would be the patisserie in France. Lots of non-meat choices there.

Besides a lot of good desserts, you'll find vegetable quiche and a cheese plate.

And it's one of the most reasonably priced food options in all of WDW.

I think I had a pretzel in Germany that I really liked. It tasted a little different than a normal pretzel but it was good.

Are you only looking for sweet treats? If not there are some vegetarian options at Tangierine Cafe in Morocco - tabouleh, hummus & bread, marinated olive salad, lentil salad, etc. YUM!

Kaki Gori in Japan, Crepes in France, pretzel in Germany, palettas or churros in Mexico, chips in England, popcorn::

I got a fruit & cheese grab&go from Sunshine Seasons last visit. Stuck it in my bag and ate it a little later sitting on a bench out in World Showcase. The fruit was fresh and there were several types of cheese. Very tasty.
