Mears

We are going to WDW in May with our 1 year old DD and our 14 year old DS. our DS wants to go to Harry Potter at Universal Studios. We are going to use Mears to get us there (we are traveling w/ my parents as well so there will be 6 of us going). My question is will I need a car seat for DD? I know I won't need one for ME or Disney buses to the parks but I am not so sure about Mears. Thank you in advance for any help.

We used Mears to travel back and forth to Universal as well. Just tell them you need a car seat and they'll provide one. We had no small children with us and when the van arrived they removed a car seat so we'd all fit comfortably. If I were you, I'd definitely use one. None of our drivers were light on the gas pedal if you know what I mean.

Depends. If you're using the Mears shuttle, you may very well be on a Mears tour bus going to US/IoA. The times I've taken Mears to and from US/IoA, it has been the bus going to, and a van returning to WDW. So, I'm not sure what you want to do about your return trip....you may want to contact Mears and find out how to handle a car seat.

I should have been more specific. I never used the Mears shuttle. We arranged for a taxi van to pick us up and take us home. Not sure what you get with the shuttle or bus.
