Mears vans outside resorts?

Hi all! I remember that a few years back, there used to always be Mears vans idling outside the resorts, waiting for any passengers who needed them (no reservation required). Hasn’t been relevant for me in years, but it’s something that would come in handy for my upcoming trip. Are these vans still around, or are they gone since Minnie Vans came and went and Uber/Lyft came on the scene? If not, is there a way to quickly rent one on demand like a ride share? Thanks!

Everything from vans to luxury vehicles are available and can be quoted, based on your itinerary.

I am not sure about short notice service, though.

They are around, but Mears also has an app where you can hail them on demand. It's called Mears Taxi, I believe. They also have an app for their luxury vehicles, but you have to book that at least six hours in advance.
