do i have to pay in advance or can i pay it at the airport, do i need to reserve in advance?
would it be better to take a taxi? but the problem is we will have at least 10 baggages
what will be the wait time and is it difficult to find mears shutte (from united airlines) as most of my family couldn't speak english

For that many people I would contact the Towncar companies. With them it's one price for all (you will probably need a van!)

With Mears it will be something like $23 bucks each round trip or somewhere around $160....

Try clicking on the Florida Tours info at the top of this page.

RENT A 10 PASSENGER VAN! With that many people in your party, it should be cheaper to rent a van. There are several companies that have gotten good reviews on the Dis. With Mears you may have to make 10 stops before your hotel. The van companies are also waiting for your party at the airport. You can arrange to stop at a grocery store for bottled water and snacks on the way to the hotel. Pick up is easier too, you just schedule according to your flight times.

rent a van? i don't have driver license...
can you give me more info, company info ?thanks a lot

I would definitely call a towncar/limo company. Search this transportation board, as there are many!

Florida Tours is a sponsor of the DIS. A lot of people love them, but they are a little more pricey than other companies.

There is also, Tiffany Towncar, Southern Elegance (who we are using in October), Happy Limo....and many, many more.

If you'd like to PM me your email address...I can send you a spreadsheet that I made of a lot of companies, their phone #'s. websites, etc.

I would definitely NOT go with Mears. Not with 7 people.

I have 5 people and have a van pickup through Trans2disney.com It will cost me $105 round trip for us with the $5 coupon off. I will add the tip to this of $15 each way will still be cheaper and faster than Mears. Most companies will also allow stop at a local grocery store and with 7 people you may want to take advantage of this for snacks and such.

I would look into the transportation companies. Mears is a long wait at the airport and they give you something that will light up when they are ready for you. If you ask how much longer they will RUDELY say it will light up when they are ready!! Have heard of waits as long as 2 hours at MCO to leave for disney.

Can U tell I am not a Mears fan LOL

Have a great trip whichever you choose

At least they now give you a beeper. The last time I used Mears, you had to wait right there where all the buses and vans were pulling up and leaving, while someone shouted for various folks to get on. While I usually wait outside anyway, I prefer to be a bit further from the exhaust fumes.

I apologize for my previous post... when I said "rent a 10 passenger van", I meant a van service. Most of the towncar services have passenger vans in their fleets. I know FLTOURS and Happy Limo have them available. I want to say the prices are around $100 for the 10 passenger vans. With Mears you pay per person, with the towncar companies you usually pay per vehicle. You would definately come out cheaper with the towncar companies with 7 people.

You could also use a cab(a van type). Last year it was about $40 oneway to WDw from the airport. The vans hold seven.
