Mears shuttle experience, to hotels near Universal?

Has anybody had firsthand expeerience with Mears shuttle, or taxi service. I am going to universal before disney. So, I need to get to the hotel. I am staying at, then I need a ride to disney. Can you please give me your experiences good or bad. Also, will they stop at a grocery store. For extra money? TIA

If you want to shop for groceries you need to contact a car service. The taxis and shuttle do not stop for groceries. The taxis actually might, but will let the meter run. There are car services that will stop for goceries with no problem. The meter runs at about $20.00 an hour.
