Mears from Disney to MCO

Hi everyone , I am just wondering what is the latest time you can book Mears to be to MCO on time for a 8:10am flight ? would you say that if i said 5:45 am it would be to the airport by 6:15 giving almost 2 hrs for checking in before the flight ? thanks Michelle

I think that you would need to give Mears more than a half of an hour to get to the airport. Remember that they may be picking up at other resorts after yours. Also, wouldn't they drop off a various air lines?. I give a town car service a half of an hour from the resort to MCO, but not Mears. If it were me, I'd figure 45 mintues to an hour to get to MCO, and go more for 5:15, if you want to be at the airport 2 hours prior to your flight.
The last time I took Mears, and this was a long time ago, they told me what time the shuttle would be arriving at the resort for flights from a certain time on, I'm not sure if they still do that or not.

I would suggest renting National one way using the Mousesaver codes. Just pick it up at the Dolphin sometime on Friday.

Figure what size car you need and compare prices to the next smallest and next largest.

Tell Mears your flight time and they'll tell you what time they'll pick you up.

You'll get to the airport a little early BUT there is no way of knowing how many other resorts Mears will go going to between your pick up and the airport.

One of the problems with Mears is that they tell you when they'll pick you up, not the other way around. In general, that seems to mean about three hours before your scheduled flight time. I suspect that early morning might be a little slower for them, so it's possible that they'd put you in one of their smaller vans, which could mean fewer stops and a slightly shorter lead time. You probably need to call them and find out.

I was just being selfish -- I will have a car but didn't want to get up early and drive my little sis to the airport myself!! I think I will just drag my butt outta bed and bring her so she isn't on the bus for hours !

Hi Pumpkinboy - what part of Maine? lived in the southern part most all my life (which is getting super close to 30 yrs here a few more when i was a tot traveling round with my Marine corp dad !!) my parents moved about 1.5 years ago up to Etna by Bangor/Brewer .
