Mears Connect (When)?

We’ve been using a car service for trips since the reopening and 2 hours has been fine. You go straight to the curb.

That would not be in any way enjoyable for me. I have run into traffic jams, massive lines in front of me when checking in bags, and even irritating precheck lines at MCO.

I have absolutely no interest in rushing at an airport, and I think that most casual travelers feel the same.

And this is a shuttle, not a car service. you'll have to wait for others.

The 2 hours statement is for their express service, which sounds like it is a car service. It doesn't explicitly say it's not shared, but it says it's direct and doesn't say it is shared, and the icon is a picture of a limo.

The standard service description does say it's shared with additional stops, and has a 3 hour pickup.

The $200 is a car service. Picks you up at hotel, straight to airport. I did it twice last year, didn’t feel rushed at all. We have precheck, we have always sailed through. Even had time to grab something to eat at the food court before boarding. My friend has used them at least 5 times since the reopening with no problems (she’s a travel agency owner and goes frequently). She pays for it, I’m pretty sure it’s under $100 each way (before tip).
It’s nice too on arrival, you pickup your luggage, call the driver, and go down to level one and he’s there. I forget the name of the one we use but it’s been great. The car is a Suburban.

edit - it’s Park Avenue Limo

I can tell you that, even if I was comfortable arriving at the airport 90 minutes before a flight, checking baggage, getting to and through security, and getting to the gate in time for boarding, my wife absolutely would not be. And if anything slowed things down (traffic, long lines at baggage check or precheck) she would be miserable and miserable to be with.

We really don’t mind having some extra time at the airport to relax before boarding.

It‘s a private service, so I’m sure if you wanted more time they would accommodate.

I used to be a road warrior (business traveler), so I’m used to cutting it close, but I never missed a flight, probably out of hundreds.
