Mears Connect for 12:30am arrival?

We usually take Uber/Lyft from the MCO, however, in July our flight doesn't land until 12:23am and I'm leery about using at a rideshare at that hour. Especially since it will be just me and my 2 girls (10 and 15).

I was thinking of using Mears Connect, but the thought of multiple stops at that time is not ideal. Has anyone took Mears Connect super early in the morning? I'm hoping it is less busy and there will only be maybe one or two other groups...

At that hour, private car service will be a much better bet. The driver will meet you at baggage claim, escort you right to the car (waiting just below), and drive you directly to your resort. While Mears Connect operates 24/7, at that hour, you’re likely to wait a while for a vehicle, and will likely be making multiple stops.

Check out Away We Go, private transport. We used them the first time a couple of weeks ago for our party of seven. We used them for pickup at MCO to be dropped off at CBR, and CBR to MCO. It was a flawless service for both trips and very reasonable in pricing.

We didn't have a great experience on our last trip BUT...we did use Mears on a really early arrival one time and it was great. We were the only ones there so they put us in our own shuttle van - didn't have to wait for more passengers or make any additional stops.

I did price out the private car & it is on my "maybe" list. But I'm always looking for a way to save a little

Off to look at pricing... 🏃‍♀️

This is what I was hoping! Wondering if I should take the gamble...

FULL DISCLOSURE!!
On our last trip airport to WDW was fine - nothing special, but the return left us pretty disappointed. The driver showed up a full 45 minutes AFTER the time they told us to be out front of our resort at 6a (we were there - on time, ready to go). The bus then stopped at 4 other resorts. To cap it off, the driver played Christian Rock the entire trip. We wrote to Mears to complain and never got a response. I might take a gamble on a really early arrival and hope for a private shuttle or a mostly empty bus, but I would look for an alternative for the return to the airport.

I suggest looking at Gear Fusion. We used them in March and they were fantastic. They also offer a pink service for an extra $10 that ensures you will have a female driver.

Thanks! We are taking Uber/Lyft back to the airport since we are leaving from Universal and it's during the middle of the day.

I have never heard of them. I'm off to check them out :thumbsup2
