Anyway, this is for past Mears bus users or future ones more in the know than I am.

I know I have to call Mears the night before check-out to arrange the ride back to MCO.

What about from. Do I call ahead or do I go to the desk at baggage claim and board a waiting bus?

I'm assuming you mean taking a bus from MCO to your resort. On the baggage claim level at MCO there is a Mears Transportation Counter...Simply go to that counter and you can purchase either a roundtrip or single way ticket on mears. Then you go outside to wear the mears buses are located and hand them the ticket you were given by the ticket agent . The people outside will then tell you where to stand or just annouce when a bus arrives which hotels it is going to. Then you give them your luggage they put it under the bus for you and then you board the bus and head to your resort and others of course.
