Good morning everyone!

*yawn* another early day at work.

Man, I tell ya! Just when you think work can't get worse. The more you give them, the more they take.

3 yrs ago they changed salaried managers hourly commitment from a minimum of 40 to a minimum of 45 hours a week - more during holidays. So essentially, we took a pay cut.

We are not allowed to come in more than an hour before the store opens unless it's a holiday (which bites because it's a great time to do floor moves or paperwork uninterrupted!)

So with Mother's day I scheduled myself in every day this week at 7:30am - because with inventory last week we were unable to prepare for the holiday as needed and we have to do a serious recovery.

Well I changed my out time on some days. Some days I worked until 6 pm which is 10.5 hours and on another day I scheduled myself out at 4pm. In all it added up to a scheduled 45.5 hours (which you always end up working more). My boss calls me and tells me that just because I am coming in early for recovery - it doesn't mean I get to go home earlier than usually scheduled (6:30pm) It's my loss if I come in early  She finally agreed to let me out at 5pm when I reminded her that my FMLA orders are for me to technically not work over 9 hours a day/45hrs a week - even though I break that all the time.

What a pain in the patooty

Anyway - I'm rambling here.. on to the poll question

"In grade-high school, which subject was your favorite?"

:( hope you have a better day. They did the samething to my DH and it got so bad he finally had to get another job. Good luck.... As for school, loved government and economics classes. I would have taken more, but they didn't offer any. It was a small school.

I ddint vote to long of a post to read

I bet you can't wait for next Monday to be here.:p

My favorite subject was Chemistry in hs.

de de de definately math--definately math

Music & geography....:D

I loved photography. I actually do photography as a hobby now because of the class I took in high school.

First thing I thought of about grade school was...Spelling! :teeth:

In high school it had to be English and Education for Parenthood. That was a fun class! :)

I had to vote "other" - I lived in the music department :p - marching band, concert band, jazz band, chorus, orchestra, any and all musicals, etc. etc.

I loved all sorts of History, and English too. My favorite History class was the Russian History I took in high school that was taught by a teacher that came from Russia.

My favorite subject in high school was band. In elementary school it was art.

Same here!!!! Had more music credits at graduation than Math and History combined :p

Foreign languages! I took Spanish and French. Would have taken more, but I couldn't with all the required stuff! :)

English was my best and favorite subject, esp. the literature.

No doubt about it - definitely math! I have loved math/logic ever since I was little. It is the only subject I've ever *really* liked, which is why I'm majoring in it!

How about "all of the above except PE, health, and gov't"? ;) I loved math, science, english, history, German, art...
