Oh man I didn't want to wake up this morning! Why is it on my days off I can't sleep but on days I have to work I can't wake up?

anyway *yawn* On to todays topic!!

I almost never get a headache, and if I do its never bad enough to take anything.

Excedrin Migraine has been helpful to me in the past.

I was torn on how to answer my own poll!! LOL!!

Generally Ibuprophen works for my headaches, but, I'm allergic to it!! (and aspirin and naproxin!) If I take it, my blood thins out so horribly that I will bruise all over for no reason and it won't clot when I'm cut or hurt. It's actually a form of hemophilia that I have but its rare and easier to say I'm allergic..lol

I could take acetomenopin but now I've been living on the maximum doseage of Vicodin so I'm not allowed to take any more tylenol - even cold medicine with tylenol. It's amazing I'm still getting headaches with all the pain meds I take!!!

So, now I need to rough them out. *sigh*

Although when it's really bad I've been known to cheat and take some ibuprohen - so I look like a dalmation, at least my head doesn't hurt!

I vote Advil but I hardly ever get headaches but when I do they are usually doozies, so I have a script for 800 Motrins(for my back) that I will take so it will go fast!

Ibuprofen for me! I've tried Tylenol & aspirin but they don't work as well on my headaches.

When I get headaches there is nothing I can do but it let it take its course.
I have headaches since I was little and they just progressively keep getting worse.
Advil, Tylenol, Aleve do nothing.
Heavy duty prescribed motrin and some other headache med did nothing.
Excedrin Migraine stops it for a little but i can no longer take that because it stopped my blood from clotting when I had a tear and caused a large blood clot.

SOOO I can either sleep it off, or when i was little I would make myself vomit but mostly i just suffer through it.

I don't get many headaches, but when I do get one, I take Aleve.

I usually take Excedrin. If it's a doozy...maybe a Tylenol PM or 2 alleve, cold dark room, cold towel on my eyes and go to sleep. (Can't take Excedrin at night cuz the caffeine keeps me up)

I use Excedrin Migraine, I don't get Migraines, but I do get bad headaches a few times a month, it works well.

I chose Ibuprophen but a lot of times I just have to let the headache run it's course because nothing seems to help.

Fortunately, I don't have as many migraines as I once did. Nothing helped them, and they are miserable.

Allergic to Ibuprofen, so I take Tylenol or aspirin for the occasional mild headache.
However, in the past few months, I have twice had real "doozies" of headaches...seeing spots, nauseous if I move, lie in the dark kind of headaches. The first time I just slept it out. The second time, I thought since the headache seemed to be "based" in the front of my forehead, maybe it was a sinus thing...Sudafed made it go away! Darn sinuses...

Wow, Lauri! So sorry for those headaches!

I had to go with "no headaches." If I get two a year, it's a lot. Then I'll take Tylenol or aspirin. Those are what I consider "real" headaches. LOL! If I skip my coffee (with caffeine, of course) or get it too late, I'll get a headache. That's the first thing I think of when I have one. Then I have a cup of coffee and it goes away.

Anacin (Caffienated Aspirin). Works for headaches and other pains in the ah - neck!

Funny you should ask this today. I've had a killer headache all day. I voted for the caffeine and asprin but in reality I take Advil. Most of the time it takes a Coke to finish it off though. My dh takes Excedrine Migraine when he starts getting a migraine.
