Happy Thursday everyone!

Not a bad day yesterday! Matt and I had off so we could take my mom from the nursing home to the hospital for a modified barium swallowing test to see if she could stop having to have all of her food go through a blender (I tell you that is NASTY) and have all of her liquids thickened to the consistancy of pudding.

Can you imagine not being able to literally drink anything for over 3 weeks?

Anyway, she passed!! So I said to her - "Well mom, now that you have aced this important test, where to do you want to go??" She said (no, not WaltDisneyWorld ) ARBY'S!

So we went through the drive through and got her an Arby's roast beef sandwich, took her back to the house to visit the dogs (first time she has been back to the house in a month) Gave her a nice cold coke with ice, and she was a HAPPY camper!

Didn't even drop her out of the wheelchair once

I think this is going to do her a world of good in her recovery. She has lost a massive amount of weight. She was already boney at 135 but she has dropped to 115 and is skeletal

I voted for creme filled because I really like chocolate filled and bavarian creme filled but I also like the chocolate iced with nuts. Its a tie.

I like the bavaian cream donuts when I eat them..............been a long time.

It's according to my mood. Sometimes I like a cream filled (the plain vanilla kind, no Bavarian or chocolate or anything), sometimes I like just a plain glazed one. I love strawberry and blueberry doughnut holes, but haven't had those in awhile.

Unfortunately for me, one of my coworkers' dd's is doing a fund raiser and she's delivering hot, fresh off the press KK's on Monday.

I chose glazed because I love the normal glazed Krispy Kremes and glazed old-fashioned donuts.

Chocolate iced bavarian cream donut from the Boardwalk Bakery in Disney World - the only donut worth breaking my low-carb diet for. YUM!!!

I had to vote for glazed. That's the closest I can get to a good old honey dipped! Yummy and light. My second choice would be Boston Cream.
