Good Morning Everyone!

Looks like the clouds are rolling into Richmond today - it's going to be a warm one (already 57 degrees at 7:30am) but looks like rain.

Tonight is Survivor night! I am so pathetic. I get so excited on Thursdays about this show..lol

Anyway - on to your question of the day

"What language that you already do not know/speak - would you like the most to learn?"

I picked Farsi because I never heard of it

I chose Japanese because I love it and I want to learn the lingo pretty bad!

I would love to learn German. My ancestors are from Germany and I've been there once. My dad speaks some German but not enough to teach me and it wasn't offered in our school. I took French and can't speak a word of it.

Japanese would be cool to learn. My grandmom is from there and she visits back sometimes. It is also great in the business world. I don't think I would even try though because it is so difficult. My DGM also showed us how to write some things and it was just way too involved, more like an art form than handwriting.

I would love to be able to learn how to speak Spanish. When I took it in college, I would translate everything from english to german to spanish and then from spanish to german to english. It just took way to long!

I already speak Spanish and can understand some Italian...but would love to learn Japanese! It is such an interesting culture and would be Kewl to communicate with Japanese people in their own language!

Spanish so I could understand what my inlaws (and DH) are saying. :teeth:

I had to pick other.

I would love to learn some Vietnamese. My bestfriend is from Vietnam and seems embarassed to talk to other Vietnamese people in front of me. It is a very fast language and I think it would be hard to learn. I always tease her if we are out and hear any Orientals talking. I ask her..."What did they say?" As if she understands all Asian languages. She just laughs because she knows I'm kidding.

I chose Spanish because I know so very little Spanish. I wish I could understand what Ricky is telling Lucy on I Love Lucy when he starts rambling in Spanish.:p

I also wish I could speak Pig Latin (trust me, it's a confusing language for me:o ).

Sometimes I barely get English right :p you want me to learn another language?

I'd like to learn British Sign Language or one of the Spanish Sign Languages.

I would just like to speak another language...any one would be OK. I took four years of Latin in HS and one year of Spanish in college, so I can read Spanish and Italian pretty well, but I don't have the knack for speaking...and slang or idioms are beyond me.

I chose Spanish because it seems to be one that would come in the most handy.. Quiero un poco espanol pero no mas. I took a year of it in college so I know a little.

Pop Daddy----in case you are wondering, I believe Farsi is the language spoken commonly in the middle East like Iraq, Iran....

Well, I already know a *little* bit of Spanish and German, so I'd say Japanese is the next on my list. That way I could visit Tokyo Disney Seas!

Definately Latin.

I'd say the average yearly salary of someone who knows latin is quite high. It brings respect. ::yes:: ::yes::

I've always wanted to be more fluent in Latin. I speak Spanish, or better yet, I WRITE Spanish!

I chose Spanish since my daughter watches Dora the Explorer and they speak it on that show.
I already know Japanese, but if I didn't, then I would choose that language cause it is really helpful to know it in Hawaii.

German. I did take German in school for 2 years but that was over 30yrs ago. Would really like to re-learn it now as I have some German pen-pals & would be great if I could write in German to them:D
