Happy Monday everyone!
I have decided something. I HATE SHOPPING!!
I had just a few things to buy this weekend for our bedroom remodel: 2 Duvet covers in either mossy green, gold or brick red (Matt and I are both cover hogs so we each have our own comforter) A slip cover for a loveseat for our bedroom in one of the above mentioned colors. A queen sized bed skirt in brick red and a full sized one in off white (for the guest room). And to top it off - curtains for 4 windows in the above color scheme.
As if the first couple of things weren't difficult enough - I never want to shop for bed skirts or curtains again. It seems like bed skirts come in 2 varieties - so cheesy that you can practically see through the fabric or so expensive that they cost more than all the rest of the bedding put together. I finally found a brick red one - originally $100 on sale for $20 at JC Penneys - but it's a king so I have to do a little sewing on it.
Then curtains - the worst thing in the world. HORRIBLE. I went EVERYWHERE! I don't want to have to special order them but trying to find 8 panels in the same color in ANY design?? Impossible!!
I was so fed up! I finally wandered into a fabric store and saw the exact same fabric (color too) that my duvet covers were made out of (Micro suede) and they had it in gold too so I bought 20 yds between the 2 and I'm going to make my own darn curtains before I pull my hair out!!!
Okay, enough ranting about shopping!

On sale! Okay...now that I have 400 thread count, I'm not going back to anything else.
