Meaning of #'s in Its a Small World????

I wanted to know if these numbers had any meaning. The ones I am talking about are if u are walking down the ramp towards the water where u get on the ride...if u look across the water, on the wall there are numbers in different sizes and shapes. Just wondering if these have any meaning??

If it's the numbers I'm thinking of, they count up to 10 I think...they are just randomly placed. Dont' know if there is more of a meaning than that....

Guessing here, because I've only been on WDW's IASW a few times since the interior redo. But, the interior was remodeled to resemble Mary Blair's exterior at the World's Fair, turned Disneyland version. I cropped the attached from a distant shot, so please forgive the blurriness. Are the numbers similar to these? Now, I've assumed they were there because of the whole clock motif. But, if there is deeper meaning, I don't know it.

Is this the new exterior at the World in Florida or California? It is beautiful!
