Meals/portions large enough to share?

I am looking for any restaurants that serve food with portions that are large enough for two people to share. I've read reviews of restaurants that serve small portions and aren't considered good values. Thanks!

That's a very subjective question.

These are some palces that have larger meal portions, although I do'nt know about sharing unless you are also getting an appetizer or desserts...

Just a suggestion... take recommendations with a grain of salt. Portion sizes are subject to change.

There's an entire, lengthy thread on this topic on the "Disney Rumors and News" forum, called "They Even Reduced The Food Amount.. Yup. I would not plan too tightly around recommended meal-sharing unless you all have very small appetites.

We found the portions at Rainforest Café in DD to be pretty large.

FWIW, we've also found a pretty good value by looking for the larger portions on a menu and sharing. Ex., the double cheeseburger at a counter service restaurant, like Cosmic Ray's, is about a dollar more than a regular cheeseburger. But it's about a half pound of meat! We shared the double and piled on the fresh "fixin's" for a reasonably priced meal. Remember that almost anything can be ordered a la carte, even if it's only on the menu as a full meal. If you don't care for the sides, don't pay for them. HTH.

We have found that the children's meals at the counter service locations work great for us. A lot of the sit-down restaurants won't let you order the child's meal unless you are under 12 though so it doesn't work as well there.
