Its me being a pest again!! Oh I've changed my log in name as I realised that my google auto fill tool bar had my user name as my email address!!

As I'm staying at the sequoia lodge can anyone tell what sort of breakfast you can expect? And if you can pay to have a cooked breakfast? Also is it worth doing GMF b'fast if available?

The reason I ask is I am a coeliac and have to follow a gluten free diet, I am aware that Disney is supposed to offer gluten free food for breakfast, you are supposed to let them know on arrival but I just wondered if it was worth faxing the hotel before I go and letting them know then?

Also do you reckon the restuarants will understand if I just ask for plain steak and potatoes/chips? Restaurants we fancy doing are Walts, Lucky Nugget and Inventions cos we reckon that the buffet might be easier for me to eat. I certainly do not fancy eating Disneys Pureed meals!

My friend and I want to do the character tea party so I thought if they gave me any GF Food for breakfast I could take it with me, do you think they will allow me to eat it in the restaurant? I'm quite happy to pay to sit there and not eat to be honest!

Sorry for so many questions!

Sorry i cant help much but when i stayed at Sequioa Lodge, the breakfast we had was lovely. I dont normally eat breakfast but i made an exception there LOL. But there was a choice of fruit, cereals, cheeses, meats, crusty bread rolls, fruit juice, toast. Probably more too. I'm not sure about the cooked breakfast though.
Sorry i can't help with your other questions but i hope you have a fantastic time!!

luv

Inventions and Lucky Nugget are buffet which mean the food is already prepared and left for guests to help themselves. Therefore it may be more difficult to get items without sauces etc.
On the otherhand I would think that Walts would be much better at offering you alternatives that meet your dietry requirements.

This is a link to a dietry publication from DLP here

Thanks for the link, if I am reading it correctly it appears I might even get some food at the tea party!:)
