If Spectromagic begins at 8PM on the night we want to eat at the Liberty Tree Tavern, what time should we make an ADR for so we can see most (all? some?) of the parade when we're finished with dinner? I know that the parade route goes past the LTT but I'm not sure how to time it.

I have the SAME question about the earlier Share a Dream parade (at 3PM) and Tony's Town Square.

Anyone know and can help me out? I can't seem to find out where the parades begin and about what time they should be where, if you know what I mean.

Thanks!

I would go for 1 1/2 to 2 hrs prior..depending on the time of the year. You may have to wait for a table even with an ADR. Your party size will be dependent upon how long your wait might be. You may also be seated right away.

From our experience with LTT for dinner. We were there a pretty long time because the food is served family style and the service was a bit slow the night we were there. (this was in October) We were seated right away, it was just dd and I, but it was a very slow paced dinner (it was busy). We even passed on dessert and were still there 1 1/2 hrs which is pretty long.

If you're doing a buffet like CP it would be less time than that since you can pace your meal since you get it yourself. The characters usually do a full round in an hour.

The Share A Dream Parade starts in the back near Splash Mountain and SpectroMagic starts up front on the left side by the barbershop. So they kinda go in opposite directions. If Spectro starts at 8 and you eat at LTT, you probably won't see the parade in that area til 8:10-8:15...just keep in mind, to get a good viewing spot you'll want to be done your meal a good 1/2 hr before the parade does start.--so I'd stick with the 2 hr rule. :thumbsup2

I agree on 2 hours. LTT typically takes a while to seat you past your reserved time. We've waited anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes (with a party of 15).

Thanks - this is exactly what I needed to know! The 2 hour rule sounds about right for the LTT - we ate there last September and it was definitely a LONG meal!
