Meal with a Disney artist???

Yesterday I let my 9yo DS online while I was still on Disboards. He got looking at menus and somewhere or another saw something about having a meal or something with a Disney artist. Does anyone know what he is talking about? Do you know how much it costs? Could the whole family have dinner with the artist or just one person? He goes to art classes every week and would just FLIP over the chance to do this but I am sure it must be expensive.

Lunch with an Imagineer at Hollywood Brown Derby - I think on Mon/Wed/Fri...lunch is $60 and you get an autographerd souvenir plate. It is quite a beautiful plate with the Imagineering logo. DD did the lunch a few years ago on her 15th bd and lunched with the Imagineer who did the music engineering for the Aerosmith Coaster ride.

Dinner with an Imagineer at Artist Point at WL...not sure of the days or prices but I think you can just search by googling and find it.

There is an old menu on allears from about six years ago which is labeled 'Dine with a Disney Artist.'

It more or less describes the meal you would receive if you booked the 'lunch with an Imagineer' dining event. The similar 'dinner with an Imagineer' program has been discontinued.

The lunch event costs about $70 a person, and is a semi-private (limited to eight or so people) three-course lunch with an Imagineer, but not specifically an artist. The last couple of folks we dined with doing this program were a set designer, and a guy who works on attraction development/theming.

Sadly, there is currently no program which brings you together with a paper-and-ink/paint artist (i.e., an animator).
