Use wdwig.com to check menu prices and see if they will be worth buying and also to figure out how many you may need.
For everyday use, for most people they are a bit expensive. I know when I first saw the price I thought they weren't for me.
But after using a few in World Showcase and the Rainforrest Cafe, I must say they are an excellent treat. You get your run of the menu - don't feeling bad about getting the "expensive" steak, or that delicious looking appetizer or desert you don't try because you want to keep the price down.
What I really enjoyed was the freedom - at the Concourse Steakhouse, for example, I had a crab cake appetizer, filet mignon, a wonderful dessert - close to $50 with tax and tip (which is included on the vouchers). That's a meal I certainly never eat at home, but I can't tell you how wonderful it was to take a break from the MK, jump on the monorail, and have such an incredible meal, all for $31.
Another day, I went to the Rainforrest Cafe and got the Surf and Turf - the bill that day was over $60, and again I had it pre-paid and for only $31.
For people that are looking for a treat or two on their trip, I highly recommend picking up a one of these if the budget at all allows it. I was one of those types that never had a sit down meal anywhere in the parks - never wanted to spend that much downtime. After years of saying, "I really would like to try...(insert restaurant)" I broke down a few trips ago and bought a few of these before each. As I said, I think the best thing is the freedom of not having to look at prices on a menu - unless you want to congratulate yourself on getting a good deal!
(I should note, that some restaurants are NOT worth using them - I've been very careful and using the menus at AllEarsNet.com I am always able to check my choices for value - I always have come up at least $5 up, if not much more as above.)
