Sorry people but i've got another question
Does anyone buy meal vouchers before they go? I've looked at the options on the disney site, it tells you the prices but not much else :confused3 . Does anyone know the difference between them?
We thought it was a good idea to get them as it will be another thing thats paid for so we wont have to worry about it once we get there.

Have not done the vouchers since we do not want to be fixed to meal options.
As you say the advantage is that you know what you are budgeting for meals.

What specific queries do you have ?

I think you are limited to some restaurants only. They cannot be used on every restaurant. Probably the difference is in how many restaurants can you use them.

Actually, I don't see any advantage on meal vouchers. You don't get discounts on restaurants, you still have to book a table, and you must lunch where they want, not where you wish.

Just an example. If you are in Frontierland, and you don't have a restaurant where meal vouchers are accepted, you have to go to any other land, and then, go back to Frontierland after your lunch.

There are fixed price menus on every restaurant (fast food, table service...). You may want to take a look before at www.dlpfoodguide.com

Well there seem to be 4 different kinds of voucher at different prices, it doesn't say what each one includes, i think one of them is starter main and pudding but cant figure out the others, i'm prob just being thick lol

These meal vouchers are only available until 9th November, then it changes to a Half Board option. If I've done it right the link to the DLP site is here.

If you want to pre-budget then the current meal vouchers or soon to be half-board option are well worth considering.
We did the meal vouchers once and it was nice to know that we had at least one meal prepaid for everyday, there is a fairly large selection of restaurants on them but in low season we did find that we couldn't always eat where we planned too because on arrival that restaurant was closed that day.
I don't think this will be such a problem with the new food options from what I've read it seems pretty flexible with the option to upgrade to the more expensive restaurants if required. :)

seeing as you can pay to upgrade at anytime we think we will get the cheaper option halfboard then pay the extra for any other places we want to eat. The rainforest place looks lovely and I think i'd really like to try eating there one night.

I'm pretty sure you won't be able to use the dining option vouchers at Rainforest Cafe McDonalds or King Ludwigs, unless they've changed the rules with the new options. I'd double check beforehand if you've set your heart on the RC - it is a lovely restaurant, very large meals though. :)

you can use the voucher at face value in the rainforest cafe :thumbsup2

No your right, it says every other except the rainforest lol.

You should do, it's a very good laugh. The food's not great (it's OK though) and it's quite expensive (£10 for a burger) but it's a good experience and probably the best themed restaurant at the park.

I wonder if you choose a la carte with the Half Board meal plan at the mentioned restaurants or if they have any restrictions and there are for example only the cheaper meals you an choose from? :confused3 Is someone better briefed about that?
