Meal vouchers - question

I've been wanting to purchase some meal vouchers but I am not sure it is the best for me, personally - only because I am not a dessert eater and my only tripmate is my ds who is a bit picky, so splitting the meal wouldn't probably work...I love salads...he's more of a hamburger/chicken nugget man. Ebay has lots up for grabs and I actually did attempt to bid on some - but unfortunately it won't let me register -

I like the idea of the vouchers, though, so I can prepay instead of carrying the cash or worrying about spending too much. Oh, also....what would you say is a "deal" for buying vouchers...cost per voucher?

Any suggestions?

It doesn't sound as if vouchers are for you. Don't worry about it or feel as if you've missed out on some great deal. The vouchers turn out to be a good deal only under the right conditions (splitting meals is one of them, though there are other ways). Just go and pay only for the food you want and will eat. You'll probably save money.

I agree about the vouchers. We are not voucher people either, as I found out on a recent trip. We do however buy and put away Disney Dollars and travelers checks to save specifically for our Disney Trips. If you do not use all aspects of the voucher, it becomes a waste of $$$(IMHO). Prepaying meals is a great idea. Try AllEarsNet.com to research menu's and actual meal costs. We were pleasantly surprised at the cost of kids meals throughout the parks. They were a better value than we anticipated. Also, if you are going to have, say a salad and iced tea...you save much more $$$, by buying that and not putting your money toward a voucher with dessert, side dish, etc. Have a great trip!!!!!!!!!!
