All the time I see meal vouchers for sale on EBay. what is the normal rate so if I do bid I will not over pay.Are they really worth it in the long run?

IIRC, the Quick & Casual vouchers are $11.00 and the Magic Kingdom Lunch vouchers are $29.50. The buffet breakfast vouchers are $17.50. (Remember you will also have to pay for shipping. I don't see why these would take more than first class postage, though, unless you want them sent insured).

Check out Mary Waring's info on Connections before you bid to make sure these will work for your family. Here's the link to get you there:

I see them on eBay too and I can't believe how much people overpay for them. They're $11 each, but 5 are going for over $90!!

I guess the same people who are bidding for four day hoppers averaging $75 a day are bidding for the meal voucher too. :jester:

they must think they can use the vouchers at the really expensive places!

Don't buy them on Ebay, join Connections through www.mypoints.com - you get a 25.00 GC when you go through Mypoints also... there's a 1.00 first month trial, order your vouchers/passes & cancel if you wish or if you like the program, it's an 80.00 charge per year...

To join directly, you don't get the 25.00 GC, but here's the direct link

Hate to be stupid but what is the GV you refered to. I just joined and see nothing like that?

which site did you join through? Some of the different sites offer 25.00 Gift Certificates for joining... when we joined the first time, I sent in the form, but then cancelled, so we never got it... this time I joined with the same customer #, so I don't get the option this time either! Such a bummer! But, hope you took advantage if it was offered!

I did the site which was in a previous post. WWWmypoints.com and I joined and have not heard anything except my confirmation.

:( :( :(

Tripletvan, you should receive a paper certificate (to be mailed in) in your welcome packet, just keep your eyes peeled for it, because you could easily throw it away without looking!!

We joined through mypoints. I don't remember seeing much about the card when we joined, but when the packet came in the mail, there was a certificate to send in to get the card. I can't tell you how long it took for the info to come, because we were out of town. But is did not take long. We also ordered a few mela vouchers, and they came a couple days later. Now...have to order some other gift cards....

I joined through MyPoints, also. It was either Monday or Tuesday night - I also ordered my meal vouchers that same night and they came today - 10 Q&C, 2 Vacation Kindgom lunch (we'll use at Rainforest Cafe in AK) and 3 Breakfast (for Cindi's)! We'll use these for adults (my dd is almost 14 and a much bigger eater than me) and share mostly with my little ds (4). I've read it's not worth price for the children's voucher. so we'll just pay cash for him (or share). Excellent service especially after ready some not so good stuff about Connections. I was looking at Ebay, too, and can't believe that people are paying considerably more than these are worth. They must not read the DisBoards.
