We will be back at Universal 2 weeks from today (Yipee!), and I'm trying to plan my meals. It will be me, hubby, and 2 daughters (8 and 6). We're staying at HRH and would like to keep our meals onsite as much as possible, but we are willing to go offsite when neccessary. We will definitely be doing Margaritaville and Pat O'Brien's (1/2 price GCs) for dinner. I also have GCs for Macaroni Grill / Chilis. We would prefer Mac. Grill but not sure where it is in relation to US (last time we went there from WDW). Can anyone help with that? If it's really not convenient we'll go to Chili's instead.
I still need one more dinner as well as four lunches. I am so far considering Enchanted Oak, Circus McGurkus and Louie's Pizza. Any other suggestions? Fun atmosphere for the kids, good food, good value? I have FAN club card and APH, so hopefully we can save some money that way.
Thanks in advance!

I love circus mckurkis. You will get 10 or 15 % off with your Ap and I find the potions big enough to share.

closest Macaroni Grill is on Apopka Vineyard Rd n/o Downtown Disney. About a 10 minute ride from HRH.

Other than that (and Applebees) I-Drive has every restaurant imaginable.

Thanks for the replies!
My hubby and I ate at Mythos and were not thrilled, we won't be taking the kids there.
We will try Circus McGurkis (I hear the fried chicken is good), do they have some kind of character show or am I thinking of something else?
Is Nascar fun for two girls who aren't into racing? How is the food there?
Do Citywalk restaurants give any discounts (AP, FAN club, etc)?

We used the AP at Citywalk with the Clear channel certs. We asked for the bill and gave them an AP. Some took it back with them and some just looked at it. They then rang up the bill with the AP discount (10 or 15%- cant remember). We then paid the remainder of the bill with the clear channel cert and cash.

Personally I found Pat O Briens one of the least kid friendly restaurants there. We went on a Tuesday at 4 30, and it was just so unfriendly to kids. My kids said it was too dark, the music annoying.. (it got better when the piano player started at 5 pm)., and the food was just Eh!

Pat O's was one of my least favorite places. It was ok, and I was glad that I had certs for it. It seemed that the food was second fiddle to the drinks there.
