Meal Splitting/Check Splitting on Dining Plan

We are headed down to the world in two weeks and have the Deluxe Dining Plan. If we are out together (2 adults, 2 children), can dh and I split an entree? Not trying to conserve credits, necessarily, just wondering! We often split meals when out.
Also, we have a few meals planned where we know that ds and dd will eat only a bite or two because they are very picky. Can we pay oop at the same time (on same bill or different) as using our own ts credits?
I guess for CS, this is all obviously fine, since you just get and eat whatever you get and eat.

Splitting meals is fine. Your server will be able to seperate your check any way you want them to.

We are dining at the Yachtsmans Steak House in Sept and my picky sister will end up ordering pasta and I mean PLAIN pasta with butter. Whatever Disney will charge for that we will pay out of pocket for and not use 2 table service credits!

Ok, that is what I am hoping to do, too. I mean my ds will likely eat fries through the meal or they will split a pizza here or there. I don't stress about their eating at home, but I'm beginning to do so for the trip.
