Meal Plus Certificates?

I was looking up information on Animal Kingdom dining and came across the Meal Plus Certificate. For $11.99 guests ages 12 & up will receive the certificate good for One counter service entree plus a beverage at participating restaurants within the park, One box of popcorn or an ice cream bar, and one bottled drink (soda or water).

I figure an approx savings of $3 per person, per day. However I was unable to find bottled beverages or ice cream bars on any of the menus available through allears? Are these items available from cart vendors at Animal Kingdom?

Yes, they are. It's a great deal.

They also have a kid's certificate for something like $5.99 - same deal, except a kid's meal instead of adult.

Is AK going to keep having these certificates even with MYW Dining? I sure hope so, since it sounds like a great deal and we can't get the dining plan!

We did them last year and you can get them at the participating restaurants. You can get them before you eat if you want to use the snack part first. The snacks(ice cream bar, pop, etc.) are from the carts.

They are only valid at Animal Kingdom quick service restaurants. You can purchase them at Restaurantasaurus (excluding the character breakfast), Tusker House, Flame Tree Barbeque, and Pizzafari.

They are $11.99 for adults and $5.99 for kids. You buy the three part voucher at the restaurant. You can use the one at the location and the other two pieces are valid at food carts.

I always get one for my son. It's a great value and he gets a snack for the parade. You can always use an extra drink anyway.
