Meal Plus Certificates?

Has anyone used the meal plus certificates at AK? Are they still using them? Are they worth the money? Where do you get them? Do they have these at any of the other parks?

Yes we have used them. Yes they are a good deal. I think we save about $3-$4 per person. They are available at the ticket windows at AK.
AK is the only park to offer this deal.

So, you buy them only at the ticket windows when you enter the park? I read on the menus that you could buy them at the restaurants. Is that true?

We just returned from WDW, and DAK. We asked at the ticket counter about the meal plus certificates, and was told that we could purchase them at any of the restaurants. We bought ours at Pizzafari on our way to the safari ride (before lunch and the lines were long) and then used them later at the Flame Tree.
They were a great value for us. We saved $4.00-$5.00 per adult and $3.00 per child using the certificates. I just wish some of the other parks would participate, too.

We used this at the AK in April. I purchased the certificates at the
same time I ordered lunch (saved having to stand in line twice on
a very busy spring break day). We probably saved $4 - $5 per person. The ice cream late in the afternoon was a great treat!
(we all 3 had the ice cream sandwich made with tollhouse cookies)

We at the Fa;me Tree BBQ but I am almost certain any of the locations will sell the certificates when you order.
