According to mousesavers...I included the part I don't understand....how do you go about purchasing these? AT the parks or front desk of resort? What age is child compared to an adult and how do you know which restaurants do this or not?
Help!!Any info would be greatly appreciated!!

MouseSavers.com reader Ruth F reports that the "Meal Plus" certificates are now available at the Magic Kingdom! "You may get a 20oz soft drink or bottled water, a box of popcorn or ice cream (my daughter went to a soft serve stand and got a HUGE waffle cone with her certificate) in addition to the meal. We did get large drinks with the adult meals, the children still got the child size."

We bought one in May at Animal Kingdom. When you go to the counter to order you just tell them you want to purchase a certificate for your meal. They give you the coupons to use for your free popcorn/icecream and soft drink/water. It was a good deal for us and I would definately buy one at the MK if they have them there (they didn't in May I don't think)

They did not have them yet in May, I'l be going next week and I will check out and report back what I find. IF they have them at MK they will probably work like the ones at AK. You purchase them at the fast food counter when you are ready to order your lunch. As far as ages go--Children under 12 kids deal, over 12 adult deal.
