Can I have your advice please, the meal plans are they worth purchasing, im trying to budget the spending money and debating whether to have the meals sorted then I just need to worry about merchandise etc.

1 adult and 2 children

Lunch time
would be fast food, i.e hotdog or sandwich etc

Dnner

If I was to eat at chef mickey, annettes diner, and 1 buffet restaurant in sequoia lodge and 1 buffet at hotel Cheyenne

Would it be cheaper to pre pay or wait and use cash????

because you have cafe mickey and annettes in there, I would say you'd be cheaper not having a meal plan, and paying for your meals when you are there instead.

if you want to budget for your meals in advance, put the money for them on a pre-pay travelcard, and use that at DLP to pay for your meals or whatever else you want.

I used to always sing the praises of the meal plans for anyone wanting to have their budget set out and take the fear of "have we got enough money" away but to be honest the vouchers are very limiting.
Yes you can use them at face value in most restaurants (exclusions: McDonalds, Rainforest Cafe, Earl of Sandwich, Planet Hollywood, King Ludwig's Castle) but this means having to eat a 3 course meal at every dinner or trying to use up the cost price of the voucher.

Now I just do a rough budget for food using online menus (dlprmagic is good and the review thread on here too) and if you really wanted to be sure its all squirreled away and keep it separate from spends you could put it on a debit card.

Its better for your pocket as you only order what you need and can have dinner in some of the much cheaper options (some nights we split a pizza and pasta at the Sports Bar between myself and the kids) and its better for your waistline as you can skip starters / desserts!! Who am I kidding - I always need dessert!!
