Some of you might remember me stressing out over our meal plans for our trip last October with finicky DD28. This trip, I've solved that problem by leaving DD at home and taking a coworker who is an adventurous eater.;) I'm also taking my Disney buddy, DGD8, of course. This will be Lynn's (coworker) first offical trip. Work sent her to a seminar at DI a couple years ago, so she visited DTD, and has been dieing to go experience the parks/resorts. I hope all goes well, never taken someone other than family, but after the ordeal with DD in October (refer to old trip report), I figure it can't get any worse than that.LOL Lynn is lots of fun, loves to laugh, & loves to eat at nice restaurants! Oh, and she's an early riser, like DGD & I so that should work out too. Anyway, I bought her an Offical Guide and told her to check it out and pick some restaurants, she wants me to pick them all. She's interested in some character meals too. Here's the PS's I've made, all of them are firsts for me as well:

6/20 (Friday): We're staying the first two nights at the Poly, arriving around 3:30pm. I've got a PS at Ohana's for 7:20pm.

6/21 (Sat): Ohana character breakfast at 7:30am. Lunch is open but I'm thinking of going to GF Cafe to eat and check out the Grand. Dinner PS LeCellier at 6:00pm.

6/22 (Sun): This day we'll be moving to BWV as this will be my first trip as a DVC member. Open, but planning a quick breakfast at Kona....should I get a PS for this? Since we probably won't get to check in at BWV until 4 or so, I've planned a long morning afternoon at MGM with lunch PS at Hollywood Brown Derby at 12:20. Dinner PS at Cape May Cafe 6:00.

6/23 (Mon): Breakfast & lunch in the Villa or grab something at AK. Dinner PS at Restaurant Marrakesh 6:00.

6/24 (Tues): This is pool or waterpark day, so we'll probably have breakfast & lunch in the room or poolside. Dinner at PS Flying Fish 6:00.

6/25 (Wed): Breakfast & lunch open. Dinner PS at Chef Mickey's 6:30.

6/26 (Thurs): Last day.:( Hoping to get breakfast or lunch PS for Cindy's. Dinner PS at California Grill 7:15.

6/27 (Fri): Breakfast either in the Villa or grab something from the bakery. Go home.:(

So, whatcha think?!:teeth:

Good plans. You don't really need a PS at Kona for breakfast. My group of 6 walked up for breakfast twice during our stay at the Poly and once we were seated right away and the other time we waited like 2 minutes. Fast service, excellent food and very good prices! I truly believe that Kona is a secret jewel at Disney.

We love Le Cellier, Chef Mickey's, and Cindy's breakfast. Good options. I'll be waiting for your reports on the rest since some of them are on my list this year. I recommend Tusker House at AK if you decide to eat lunch there. It is my favorite sounter service.

I remember reading your trip report last year and I this trip has to be better.
