meal plan

i am thinking about getting the disney meal plan and would like to know what people think about it. also i would like to know if i have to get the plan for all the nights of my stay

I haven't used the meal plan yet, but I can tell you that you need to buy it for each night of your stay, and that everyone staying in your room with you also has to have the meal plan.

There's a board devoted to discussion of the meal plan here on the DIS, the folks over there might be able to help you decide if it's right for you.

We enjoyed it very much and yes you have to purchase it for each night of your reservation and everyone has to be on it.

Whether iti s a good deal for you and your party depends upon a lot of factors, including how many adults and children will be in your party and you individual dining habits. We normally have a table service lunch, but are not heavy eaters, and a counter service evening meal. The DDP would cost us more than we spend cash, as our party is all adults, and we use the Dining Experience card.

For some people the DDP is a great deal.

I have done the meal plan twice, and it is awesome. I do highly recommend to do ressie's for your table service meals. Happy eating!
