I am getting so excited. My dd and I are headed to DLP this summer. We booked under the 30% off hotel and park tickets with free half board offer that expired at the end of march. I am looking into booking our restaurants and wondered what level Half board it is. I looked on my reservation and it just says free half board.

Does anyone know what that means? I saw there were levels but wanted to know what was included before I made my restaurant plans.

the free half board is dependant on which onsite hotel you are staying at -
Santa Fe & Cheyenne (& Davy Crockett ranch) - Standard.
Sequoia Lodge, Newport Bay and Hotel New York - Plus
Disneyland Hotel - Premium.

Thank you for your help! We are staying at the Sequia Lodge.

I'm pretty sure the free half board is the standard, but someone else will confirm.

This is the best description of all the levels I've seen. Also if a restaurant you want isn't included in your plan you can still use your voucher towards the cost of the meal.

Thank you. I am going in 23 days and I am still questioning the meal plan :)
Unless it's free / you're the type who eats three course meals every day I wouldn't go for it.
I can't handle huge portions so for me it's not value for money. Only you know your limits ha

It was part of the package.. free half board plus. My questions were really where can I eat, what can I eat, and can I use the voucher in any restaurant that doesn't give the half board plan :)

you can use your vouchers in any table or buffet service restaurant which participates in the half board dining plan. If the restaurant you choose is not on the half board plus plan, you can use your voucher at its cash value instead, but again, only at table or buffet restaurants which participate in the dining plans.

If the restaurant participates in the half board plus plan, but has a set menu for the voucher, can you use the cash value of the voucher and go a la carte?

Oh, and just what IS the cash value of the voucher? is it what's posted on DLP website above as the cost per person/per night? As in mine would be 34 euros?

In some.restaurants you can Checkers. It's fine in Wall's and Blue Lagoon to order a la carte but you do get best value from the set menu as it will.include a drink and represents a.saving on buying the food and drink a la carte. In Cafe Mickey there is no a la carte.option - set menu only. :)

Yes, that sounds right for.plus voucher cash value.

Thanks for the information :) I know the set plan is a better value, but I am a picky eater :) Especially when I don't know what it is I would be eating.. like what is "Milk Jam"? I saw that on a dessert.

(Edit: Never mind.. I googled Milk Jam and found out what it is. :) I've had it before)
