meal plan costs?

Last year we ended up getting the dinning plan (my son and I)
My question is, this year 3 adults and my son are going to disney, can I just put my son on the meal package and not the 3 adults?Does anyone know that exact dinning plan costs for kids and adults?

NO, all people in the party must be included in the dining plan. You can only purchase the dining plan as part of a package (unless you're DVC owners/renter @ a DVC property). Each person in party must purchase at least a 1 day park ticket, rack room rate (or AAA) and the dining plan.

The dining plan for 2006 is $37.99 for adults and $11.99 for children 3-9.

If you're all in one room, yes, everyone has to be on the plan.

If, however, you & your son are in one room & the other two adults are in the other room (not sure what the make up of your party is!), then you could book a package with dining for yourself & your son, then for your second room, book without dining. But then you'd have to book it as separate packages for each room. Does that make sense?

is it worth the amost $130 per day? We usually dont spend that much? but then again i have never done it with the 2 extra adults!

I think the meal plan is Definitely worth getting. However, you need to evaluate your own dining habits. If you do get the dining plan, you need to make ADR's (advance Dining reservations) at restaurants you want to go to.

I would make a few character meals, and a lot of TS meals with that many adults (LeCellier, Teppanyaki, CA Grill, etc).

If you do a little advanced planning and get the dining plan, you'll be hooked! It's a REALLY great deal and so convenient.
