I did the meal and movie last november. It works on a voucher system. You get one for your movie and one for your meal. While it does restrict your food purchases it was still a good deal. When i purchases my voucher at the kiosk in citywalk they told me that my movie pass would not expire if i did not use it that day. I hope this helps.

I did wonder how it would be to have a limited menu, and the other thing is finding a restaurant that all of would like, because my kids are somewhat picky. Oh well, we were planning on eating at some of those restaurants anyway, so we just have to decide which one! Thanks! Kelly:wave: :)

Does anyone know if it's possible to buy these meal & movie deals online? They sound like great Xmas presents. We're leaving Jan 1st for 10 days - can't wait !:bounce:

It doesnt look like these can be bought online but they list a phone number.

Buy your Meal & Movie Deal Tickets at the CityWalk Guest Services Ticket Window, all Destination Universal locations, or call a CityWalk Sales Coordinator at 407-224-City.

Good Luck:)

Do you really save money with these? and does it include gratuities???

Yes SpideyHulk, it is an incredible deal. And tax and tip are included.

EXAMPLE (prices are approximate)

Hard Rock Cafe
Chicken Fajitas - $12
Soft Drink $2

Movie - $7

That's $21. Add 6.5% sales tax and tip and you're running around $25.

Buy the meal & movie deal and you save $5 (in this scenario).

It's safe to say the savings add up. :)

Do they offer a kids price for the Meal & Movie Deal??

If so, what is the cost?

Thanks,
Katie

Alas, there is no known deal for children. You can check, but it's not likely.

We did this deal 2 years ago:confused: It truly is a great deal! I cant recall if they offered a kids price but I dont think they did.

We did this last year and we just bought the children kids type meals at Hard Rock Cafe and ofcourse their movie tickets cost less also. It was still a considerable savings for us. :) (and I'm glad we saw the movie on NYE because if we'd shelled out a lot of dough for babysitter and Cityclub party plans- we would have been rained out like so many others were!) :)

I am definitely checking this out on my next trip.

Me too!!! We were going to get up really early and go to the RPR and head right to the parks that day, but I know we'll all be really tired from getting up so early. I think now that we'll go to the hotel in the afternoon, do this wonderful deal with the family that night and then head to the parks the next morning. Since we can still use FOTL on the day we check out, we'll use that as our 3rd day.

Sounds great!!!
