Meal Deals

I'm working on my budget for my December trip. I'm trying to decide our supper on arrival day. We may end up cooking in the condo. But I wonder what kind of deals are out there for off property meals.

I know Applebee's has a 2 for $20 deal going on right now, but I'm not sure if that is all the time or if it will end before my trip. I've also read that if you sign up on the website they send you a coupon for a free app.

Any other really good meal deals out there?

Sweet Tomatoes has 2 for $20 going on right now. They have coupons all the time.

Pretty sure Applebees 2 for $20 is all the time---at least it is here in Michigan.

It is a buffet, but it has salads and soups. And desserts! The one we went to in Sarasota also had a baked potato bar. So it is lighter food but plenty to chose from if you like that sort of thing.

Chili's usually has a 2-4-20, as well. With shared appetizer and 2 entrees.

One of the best deals I've seen and will try during our July trip is Steak and Shake. The have an assortment of $4 plates like burger/fries. Also on weekdays between 2-5 p.m all their drinks/milkshakes are half price. So, a meal with drink around $6. There is a location right outside of DTD near Crossroads.
There is also a Sweet Tomatoes nearby which is fantastic and a great value.

If you sign up at Earl of Sandwich website they will e-mail you a coupon for a free sandwich and another one on your birthday.

Also on weekdays between 2-5 p.m all their drinks/milkshakes are half price. So, a meal with drink around $6. There is a location right outside of DTD near Crossroads.
There is also a Sweet Tomatoes nearby which is fantastic and a great value.

If you are a Sam's Club member you can get $50 worth of gift cards for Steak and Shake for $39.99 online. I used the Sam's club Amex deal for this as we like occasional S&S in Florida as the closest one here is in Fredericksburg, Va. Love their sliders and milkshakes!

We love Steak and Shake! We usually go to one in Ohio when visiting family. We don't have one near us. That will probably make the list.

My birthday is less than a month before we go. Will they let me use the sign up coupon and the birthday coupon on the same visit?

I just read that Applebee's will email you a coupon for a free dessert for your birthday. Anyone know how long you have to use it?

My birthday is in the middle of the month and I'm hoping to use the coupon at the beginning of the next month.
