Meal Deal?

Am I understanding correctly that the Universal Meal Deal is about $20/day for one park, about $4 more to use it in both parks. For $6 more you can get a coupon for entree and drink at a Citywalk restaurant? (So about $30 per adult for unlimited food at both parks--limited to certain locations--and a meal at Citywalk.)

With a park opening of 9am is there anything to eat for breakfast included in the Meal Deal?

Anyone really like or dislike using the meal deal? Why?

My first instinct is that we don't need it. We'll likely split entrees. We do like to enjoy the unusual snacks and stuff that aren't included in the deal. But on second thought if it includes dinner at Citywalk then maybe it is a good deal. Are there any restrictions on the entrees? Any thoughts?

Do they enforce the No Sharing rule? I've been to one of their eateries before and it seems that it is sort of like a buffet line where you order, pay, and then find a seat of your own.

Assuming that it will be busy starting midday, I would go up about 3 times to get food and just share with the kids...:)

Thanks!

That's correct ~ $19.99 (1 park) & $23.99 (2 parks) + tax

Only includes an entree at select locations ~ no drink included.

The meal deal is only valid lunch through dinner.

Yes, there are restrictions ~ both on the entree you can order & the dates the City Walk add on option is available.

From Metro's post, I'm guessing those are the prices they are charging at the park, & the link I posted gives you prices if you purchase your tickets on-line. If my guess is correct, looks like you save $1 per ticket if you purchase on-line.

I have found the deal only to be good if you eat alot and really not a picky eater but with my 2 Ds's they are very picky and would be a waste of money.
So we just stick to eating when we get hungry and have found it not to be very expensive :thumbsup2

I don't think it looks like a good deal. no drink? And from what I have read in my UG, it says basically you might save a buck or 2 a day. I looked at it, and with no drinks included, I think why bother.

No drink included...it's not a good deal unless you plan to eat a lot.

Plus...there are MUCH better restaurants to try that are not on the plan. Places like Mythos, Thunder Falls Terrace and Finnegan's.

Plus from what I have read on the meal deal with citywalk restaurants included the food is also limited choices too :thumbsup2
