Hello

1 Park/1 Day Meal Deal

Has anyone done this??

Is the food choice/actual food any good?

Would you recomend? :goodvibes

Yeah. I abused it. Not literally, but yeah.

I mean, for one meal I'm paying about $12. So for $8 more I can have many more meals on top of that.

Not fantastic food, but enough to fill your belly.

Theres select places I really enjoy like Louie's . I personally recommend it for teens with big appetites, as it forces you to eat alot to get your money's worth.
Agreed and if you're going when the parks close early that makes it harder to get your money's worth since the restaurants close early too. There are some good restaurants on the Meal Deal but there are better ones w/o it and if your family doesn't eat a lot during the day, I would skip it for better restaurants in the parks.

with the meal deal do you get drinks included at the meal???? Or is it just the main meal and dessert and pay for drinks extra?

Thanks

We bought the all you can eat meal deal at Universal in California last year. We got lucky and were offered the all you can drink souvenir mug with our first meal. I think because it was such a slow time of the year, they were just giving them away.

We felt we got our money's worth even though the park closed early. We ate lunch at Louie's and dinner at Mel's. If we had paid for those meals separately, plus our drinks, we would easily have spent more than the $20.00 each.. not to mention the refill on the drinks throughout the day.

My guys (3 grown men) are not into fancy food.. prefer burgers, fries, chicken nuggets and pizza, so it was a great deal for us. They're all big eaters and they loved the freedom to get seconds if they wanted them.

Even if we have to buy the souvenir mugs separately, we'll just purchase two and share by getting a glass of free water and reusing the glasses throughout the day. Works for us. ;)

Because we paid for the dining plan months ahead of our trip, it almost felt like we're getting our meals for free. It's a state of mind thing. :rotfl:

BTW: We've already purchased our "all you can eat" tickets for our 2 days in the parks this November. Yep.. we are fans! :)
