First, the meal deal. I went to UO's website and saw this:

Universal Studios Participating Restaurants:

Mel’s Drive-In
Sample Menu: Burgers, Chicken and Salads

Louie's Italian Restaurant
Sample Menu: Pizza, Pasta, and Salads

International Food and Film Festival
Sample Menu: Asian, Italian, and American Food

Islands of Adventure Participating Restaurants

Circus McGurkas Café Stoo-pendous™
Sample Menu: Fried Chicken, Spaghetti, Pizza, Chicken Caesar Salad, Burgers and Chicken Sandwiches

Comic Strip Cafe®
Sample Menu: Chinese, Italian, New England, Mexican and American Food

Captain America Diner®
Sample Menu: Cheeseburgers, Chicken Sandwiches, Chicken Fingers, and Crispy Chicken Salads

Now, I could of sworn I saw Monsters Cafe and Burger Digs (possibly more) as choices for the meal deal a couple of weeks ago. Am I correct? Well, regardless if they were listed or not, is THIS LIST accurate to date? Or are there other participating restaurants which are not on the list? We'll be flying out from Texas on the 10th and returning on the 14th. I would really appreciate a heads-up from you guys (and gals princess: ) if there are any changes to the list from here on until the 10th. Thing being that we HAVE TO eat at Monsters Cafe everytime we visit. Ritual I guess.

Now, to the HHN's question. I had already asked this question, but did not get an answer. I know that I did not get a response beacause HHN's had not started yet and maybe no one knew the answer to my question. If any of you Annual Pass holders are going tonight or tomorrow, I was wondering if you would be so kind as to find out about the following (I copied and pasted this from my last post):

Are they going to have the Annual Passholder Party on every night or just on opening weekend? The reason I ask is because I received my passholder newsletter by email and it stated the following:

Exclusive Halloween Horror Nights® Passholder Party
September 29 & 30

- Exclusive "Party Zone" in the Boneyard area from 4pm-6pm
- Happy hour drink specials
and food discounts
- Priority seating at the evening's first performance of Bill & Ted's Excellent Halloween Adventure

If this is the case, will I have to buy a Stay and Scream pass eventhough I have a Preffered Annual Pass? I will be going on the 11th and 12th using the frequent fear pass. :thanks: in advance!!!

To do the AP party you will have to have tickets for HHN. The AP party is only the first weekend.

Burger Digs and Monster Cafe are only on the meal deal during peak season. October is not a peak month so they aren't included. I'd buy the 2 park meal deal then you can have Citywalk included.

How much is the 2 park meal deal?

Are there restaurants that dont particpate in November that participate in the summer? I still see all of them listed for November, current literature states the ones in the summer are still included in off peak season!

Monster Cafe and Burger Digs were included in the meal deal this summer but are not included right now since it is non-peak.

thanks, seems a little like its misleading the customer, that is for sure, you buy the plan and bam they take two major places off for non peak season and said nothing of this when it was bought, hmmmmmmmmmm......do you know if the city walk is still included, the additional 4 restaurants? that would make up for the deletion of the 2! thanks

It isn't misleading. The restaurants are listed on the website and Monster and Burger digs are not listed. http://www.universalorlando.com/tic_meal_deal.html I don't believe they ever listed Burger Digs and Monster on the website. It was just a pleasant surprise once you were in the park during the peak months. Maybe I am the one you should be upset with as I was the one who informed people here that Burger Digs and Monster were now included. I thought those who were going at the time would like to know ahead ot time.

Citywalk is still available for the 2 park and will continue to be so.

There are also plenty of places where they have the pamplets to look at ( as well as being able to look at the website) before you purchase the meal deal so it is in no way misleading. :sunny:

I printed out all menus and participating restaurants WHEN I BOUGHT THE MEAL DEAL several months ago for our trip in November, I will be glad to cut and paste them!!! At no time did it indicate that some restaurants were not participating once the peak season is over, and Monster and Diggs were both listed without such information regarding peak vs non peak season.........thanks none the less, IT IS indeed MISLEADING but I guess change is expected, I don't need any further lectures on how it is NOT misleading, thank you, I will not starve and basically burgers are offered everywhere and I do work and make enough money to buy at these restaurants is I felt the need.........Could one imagine if 3 or 4 more places decided to not participate without indicating this to the public WHEN IT WAS PURCHASED? One would get there and have hardly anything to choose from. The way I look it is, LOCATION, not so much, "all you can eat and gorge myself at every place possible", I don't want to have to back track to eat, multiple places means convenience for me and my family, so when two places are no longer on the list that means you have to "travel" a little more to eat, that is all, but such is life and the excersise will do us Americans good! I personally thing it is misleading, if you don't fine, if you do fine, I disagree with many of everyone's OPINIONS on here sometimes but they are just that, OPINIONS and I respect one's opinions, thanks.

Testy, much?

Not once were you lectured. In fact both my post and the post that followed mine were polite. Not once did we resort to exclamation points or all caps in our reply as you did. If you re-read my post, I actually said "I don't believe they ever listed Burger Digs and Monster on the website." I didn't say you were lying or say you were wrong but that I didn't think it was ever listed. You say it was listed and I will trust you on that. Citywalk wasn't listed during peak times and now it is part of the meal deal so many more restaurants are now included than were included during peak.

Nicley said Phamtom.
I'm wondering are the Citywalk restaurants available now, even with HHN
going on?

Thanks

Who said my response was to you Phanthom? You get the point none the less, this is a forum regarding questions and not to lecture people about their opinions. My comment was about "universal studios", not an individual person, I didn't realize the Universal Studio Fan club were monitoring and protecting..... Anyways, yes, Citywalk would be a positive addition if you want to leave the parks to go eat but that is not convenient but it will be a plus after hours if were still up and willing..... I am just wondering how many people booked back in June feel the way I do, scary to know things change so sudden and without notice, Montser and Diggs is negative, Citywalk is positive, I guess were at their mercy, they have our money, but again, were not going to gorge all over the park, just love convinience, NICELY SAID.

Well there were only two replies: mine and Rabbitlover's. RL's reply wasn't a lecture either. Neither, in my opinion, seemed to merit 3 exclamation points.

And in answer to RL's question: yes, the Citywalk restaurants are still included during HHN but I believe you have to eat before 10:00 PM. (I might be wrong on the timeframe.)

Oh well you cant please them all...even if your trying to be polite . :thumbsup2

Anyhow hhnsweet16 asked the question about city walk..not me :)

Seriously, it is over, you win, just STOP talking about it. GESH!!!!! I don't know the code on the internet, if I had used one less exclamation, would that of been better, seriously, its over.

You are right about the timeframe, before 10pm for citywalk. Can anyone tell me how far of a walk from Universal or IOA is citywalk? We have free rental cars with our package but a short walk would be nice. Did anyone see the menus for the 4 restaurants incuded from Citywalk, surely they cannot include the main restaurants? I see each have an express side or a cafe side to them, surely those have to be the added restaurants, no? I found a site that explained the whole citywalk thing, I was at work nightturn and I had to attend to my patients and when I returned to the computer, someone had signed me off and lost the site, I cannot find it anywhere. Has anyone else seen it? It said something like, "stop press citywalk now including 4 restaurants until 10pm if you buy the 2 park meal deal" includes Bob Marleys, Latin, Pat Obrien's and Pastamore.........I wish I could find it again. I also mentioned earlier that you CAN buy the 2 park meal deal on the net now, some sites only show the 1 park meal deal but I showed the site earlier for the one that allows you to buy the sipper cup and the 2 park meal deal, see my previous posts, the site is posted. I doubt I will be eating all 4 nights of my package after park hours, so I think I will do one night at the citywalk, I came across a few of those Orlando Meal movie coupons.......but the kids will be tired and want to swim so I will probably stick to the 1 park meal deal.

Wow you have some issues...lol :rotfl2:
I am not going to even touch your newest questions hopefully someone will help you but they are probably afraid you will rip their head off for giving you an answer. Wow your life must be tough or something to get that angry over some replies when no one is getting upset with you just trying to help and you act like that :confused3

Good luck with your vacation, sounds like you and your children will need it( and anyone that crosses your path) :rotfl: :stir:

Gosh I think I will stop replying to anyones post, dont ask questions if you dont want an answer or any comments about this, I guess I was confused and thought this was a PUBLIC board and people were free to reply to posts...guess I was wrong :rotfl2:

talk about issues, you just don't quit. My questions are for anyone to answer, my questions are not directed to you. Thanks to those of you that replied, :).
