Meal books or pay yourself?

We went back in 2006, used the meal books. Had some left over when we came home. We have been looking atr the package on the Disney site, but after reading here. I went and priced seperatley and got much better pricing.


Has anyone here used the meal books also then payed for meals? How much more, or less was it if you payed out of pocket?

There are 2 adults and one child.

The 6 of us have never found the meal books/meal plan worth it. If you have anything left over that is $$ down the drain..IMHO.
