ME WDW to MCO for airport hotel stay

Hi all, I'm sure this has been discussed before, but there's so many ME threads .... So interested in your thoughts on this plan
Re trying to add an extra day onto our vacation; so we're thinking of staying at the airport the last night and flying out early the next morning.
Since we will checking out of a WDW hotel the day before, ideally I would like to take ME to MCO after the parks close or definitely towards the end of the day. I've figured out that there's a flight to Bogata at midnight. If I were to say that that's My departure flight, could we take ME for 9PM? Do I even have to do this ruse?
The only other flights are much earlier - departures at 9PM or so

Anyone have experience with this?

Yes, that is what you would have to do. I have used ME in this manner before or after a trip. Before we stayed at an airport hotel because we landed at nearly midnight. I simply gave them a flight that landed the next morning and we were set. The other time I gave them a flight time for when I wanted to return to MCO so I could pick up a rental car (we were staying off site the last 2 nights).

The only thing is that Bogata is an international flight.... I think they pick up 4 hours in advance for international, though, I could be wrong.....
