We are checking out of Beach Club and then planning to have a nice slow lunch and walk around Coronado Springs Resort.

We are flying South West. Can we check our luggage in at BC and then go to CS by private car(they are then leaving with car) and then eat and catch a bus to MCO from CS? :earseek:

No, because Southwest is not a "participating" airline with DME. If you do it the way you describe, your luggage will be stuck at Beach Club. There will be no way for your luggage to get from Beach Club to MCO without you taking it to MCO on the DME bus.

Thanks for the information. I guess we will take our luggage with us andI had better make sure I call and tell them we are leaving from CS and not BC.

I really had not found out what airlines do or do not participate in ME. I guess I better pay good attention to my directions so I do not lose my luggage.

With SW, at MCO,do I have to pick up my luggage and take it to the bus or do they do that for you?

"Participating" airlines only matter for the return from your resort to MCO. But when you arrive at MCO and are going to your resort, EVERYONE gets the luggage handling perk. The airlines have nothing to do with that end of it on your arrival, that's why it doesn't matter what airline you fly in on. It only matters what airline you LEAVE Orlando on.

I'm not 100% sure, but I'm thinking that you will not be able to be picked up at a resort in which you are not staying.

Yikes! Really? I never thought that might be a problem. Thanks for letting me know.

I will have to ask. We just wanted our last dinner/lunch to be at Pepper Market and we thought we could leave from there. :confused3
