ME to BW...then Swan?

Ok,
Maybe I'm trying to scam the system...but hear me out.
I booked a week long package at BWI, which entitles me to a ME trip there.
I'm looking at adding 2 nights at the Swan at the front of my trip.
Now I realize that ME doesn't cover the Swan and Dolphin, but do you think that I could take my ME to the Boardwalk, 2 days before my package begins, if I were willing to haul my own luggage and schlep over to the Swan?

Thoughts? Opinions?

That can't be done because you can only ride Magical Express on the day your WDW Resort reservation begins.

Not quite true....

You are entitled to one round trip during tour stay. You could (any many people do) have a split party, all on the same reservation (usually room-only) arrive at different times/days.

What you cannot do is ride DME anytime before the first day of your reservation or after the last day of your reservation.

The OP was asking to ride prior to the start of his Disney reservation.

You are entitled to a ride to your resort from MCO and a ride from your resort back to MCO during your resort resevation time frame. So, no, you can not take DME 2 days early.
You can come and go at any time within that resort resevation, but not before it starts or after it ends.
Book the Mears shuttle for $19 to the Swan. It is just fine. I've done it myself when staying at the S/D.
