Me-tipping

Asked this on transportation thought I would try here. Does anyone tip the driver of the ME bus? How much?

I tip them a dollar a bag that they handle. But it looks to me that most people do not tip them anything.

No, I don't think any WDW drivers can accept tips. Perhaps someone knows for sure, but I've never tipped nor saw anyone else tip.

Magical Express drivers are NOT Disney CMs - the service is provided by an outside contractor which provides the buses and the drivers. So, yes, ANY time somebody handles your (well, my) bag or bags, they get tipped.

We gave a tip last time, but we got our bags ourselves at baggage claim so driver had to stow our bags and stroller under the bus. We gave him a dollar per item when we got to resort. Your bags may not be on your bus with you if you are having the "traditional" ME service, so I don't know what to do with that situation. I'm sure someone else will have the answer.

In October, our ME driver had a sign inside the bus that read, "Tips are greatly appreciated."

That made it a little weird, actually.

My DH last year tipped $1 per bag both going to WDW and then back to airport.

I will tip even though I will be getting my own bags at BC. (just so we do not have to wait hours for our stuff)

I tip ME drivers, bell staff who handle my bags, maids who clean the room. They all work hard to make my vacation enjoyable. I really appreciate them.

I don't really know the answer to this, but I would say $1 a bag. I saw your post before, but thought that you were asking about tipping the Disney drivers in general and thought, "Who does that?" I had to look at your question again....
