ME the next day

We aren't getting in until late and the only thing available is the Wilderness resort. We don't want to spend that kind of money for one night just to sleep so will opt to stay near the airport. Can we get the ME early the next morning and how would we get there? Also, if we put the luggage tags on will it get picked up and stored until the next day or do we need to get our checked luggage ourselves?

No problem. When you return to the airport on check in day from the nearby motel, just go to the welcoming area. It would be easier if the motel shuttle drops you off on the "B" side. Then, when you enter the airport terminal, turn left and go almost all the way down and then go downstairs to the lowest level.

You would need to reserve DME based on a flight (any flight, any airline) arriving at about the time you will be ready to take DME.

You need to claim your bags and take them to the motel with you. Then down to the bus where the bags will be loaded under. Please tip the driver when he gives the bags back to you at your resort.

Just to clarify; you can use DME anytime during your WDW Resort reservation it does not have to be on check in or check out day.

You do need an advance reservation and must be a WDW Resort guest on the day you want to use DME but we have had guests arrive a day or so after us and depart before us and it is not a problem.

And don't worry IME the drivers make it very clear that tips are accepted
