Hi! :wave2: Quick question: Do I put my ME tags on my suitcase the same way the airports do? Also the part at the bottom of the tags it says to tear off. Is that for me to do and keep that part or is that for the ME people? Thanks!

No one has any experience where the airport has accidentally ripped them off thinking they were old tags did they?

Do not tear off any part of the tag itself.

Remove each tag that you will be using from the booklet. Follow the instructions on the back of the yellow tag.

The backing has three sections — remove the backing at either end of the tag, exposing the adhesive; keep the backing on the rest of the tag.

Put the tag through the handle of your suitcase, and press the two exposed adhesive areas against each other. The result is similar to how the airlines attach the white destination tags.

The tags will not tear or fall off. Once your bags arrive in your resort room, you can remove the yellow tags. It takes deliberate effort to pull the adhesive apart to remove the tags.

I can't get a visual in my head as to the tearing off part....just tear it and wrap it around your baggage handle, the same way the airlines put the destination tag on. I have yet to have the airline people get confused by this tag. It doesn't apply to them, so they just ignore it. You should be fine. Oops, looks like HH beat me to the punch...so, yeah, what he said!!

Because the tags do not look like airline tags, your airline has no reason to pull them off. Anyway, you'll be there when the airline agent or skycap at your home airport applies the destination tag. (Make sure it says MCO.)

In comparison, if your suitcase still has a destination tag from your previous flight, the airline agent or skycap will pull it off so that your bag will go to your new destination.
