We are taking ME back to the airport on the last day of our trip. BUT, our flight doesn't leave until 6:30 ish and we are planning on leaving our hotel, POFQ, in the morning, having breakfast and spending the day at MK. In the meantime, what can we do with our luggage?
thanks so much.

Does your airline participate in the resort check-in? If so you can check-in for your flight at the resort and then not have to worry about them until you get back to your home airport. If not you can still leave them with bell services and pick them up when it's time to leave. Either way, for your carry ons you can leave them with bell services(the same place you do airline check-in) and pick them up before you get on the magical express.

Go to bell services when you check out in the morning. They will tag your bags with a bar code sticker and give you a receipt of sorts to pick them up.

Be there about 15-10 mins before the DME is scheduled to pick you up and you should be fine :)

If you do this, you've just increased the chances you'll miss your DME bus. You should be AT the DME pickup location, ready to board (bathroom taken care of, last minute shopping done, luggage in hand, etc) 15 minutes before your assigned time. If you have need to gather luggage from bell services, I'd do that at least 15 minutes before THAT time.

So, if you're scheduled to be picked up at 3:30PM (for example), I'd be at the resort no later than 3, pick up your luggage, send whoever to the bathroom, etc, so you're at the DME pickup location b y 3:15.

The DME bus will wait for no man (or woman, or child). ;)

If your flight is at 6:30-ish, you will be getting a pickup time of between 3:15 and 3:45. It's usually 3 hrs prior to departure, give or take 15 mins either way. You need to be out, waiting at the DME bus stop, no less than 15 mins prior to your stated pickup time.
If you are flying out on a 'participating airline' you can check you bags and get your boarding pass in the morning, before you leave your resort for the day!!! It's a wonderful service. If you aren't flying on one of the participating airlines, and will be taking your bags with you? Just store them with Luggage Assistence. THen, be back there, receipts in hand, no later than 2:45. That gives you plenty of time to get your bags and use the restrooms one last time before heading to the DME bus stop. I usually try to be back at the resort an hour before my stated pick up time.

It is important to note that mid-afternoon can be a very busy time for the guest services as new guests are arriving from the airport and by vehicles. They will be doing a lot of off-loading of luggage and may not be able to go get your things for several minutes.

We were booked on a 3:30 pm bus for ME at SSR and came back about 45 minutes early. I am glad we did because it took about 15 minutes or so to free up someone to go get our carry-ons.
