ME questions - 1 way and no flight

we are staying at the poly at the end of out trip to Orlando. We will have a rental car until we get to the poly. (1) can my husband drop off the rental car and then just ride the ME back to the poly? And (2) can the whole family just do the ME when we head home?

Finally, anything special with the ME? We can also get a transfer through my husbands work. (Either a towne car or a shared bus, depending on how many families stay after a work conference.

Everyone listed on your reservation is entitled to one round trip between MCO & WDW at times of your choice from your check in day to check out day.

So yes, your husband can drive the rental car back to MCO and utilize DME to return to the Poly.
Yes, the entire family can ride DME from the Poly back to the MCO.

You do need to make reservations for both DME trips. There's a number you can call or I think it's available on the website.

I will suggest though looking to see what it would cost (the price difference should be negligible if any) to drop off either on or near WDW. It will take at least an hour (possibly longer) to drive to MCO, return the car, wait for the bus, and return.

Yes and yes. Just make sure to make reservations in advance.

I guess it depends on what you mean by special. It's a comfortable ride and they show a video.

Excellent point! I see there's a place in lake Burma vista so that would make it much easier. Now we just need to figure out when to ditch the car. We are going to legoland in the beginning, then four seasons.
