Can I just get all of our luggage ourselves and take it with us on the bus?
I really do not want to get to my room and have no luggage all day.

Luggage is arriving much faster now. But I would still take a carry on with some clothes and items with you on the bus. What time are you arriving?

Yes, you can collect your own luggage and still use DME. Do NOT put the yellow Disney tags on the bags though- they are pulled out before getting to the luggage carousel. You will still need to preregister for DME.

As Safetymom suggested, the luggage is being deliviered to guests in a more timely fashion, so I'd still use the service and let them handle the bags for you.
