My TA told me that ME only sends one lagguage tag per person but we are flying SWA and we are allowed two bags each. Will ME send me more lagguage tags? I am hoping there isn't a problem since we fly SWA so we can have two bags without charge. Anyone know. Thank you!

I don't know the answer to your question, but I have one for you... does everyone NEED two bags? Our family of 5 will probably have 3-4 pieces of checked luggage for a 10 day stay. It has very little to do with luggage fees... more with how much we can fit into our car to get to/from the airport, and how much stuff we need to bring.

Good question. However we do use the two bags since airlines limit weight to 50 pounds and we buy souvengers there. No we don't buy all of them I actually get a lot of them on clearance/sale racks before we go. We also go in the winter so we need to be ready for warm or cold air. We do layer but you still don't have a clue what the weather will really be doing so that means taking a little of both. Also since there is two of us we limit what we take as carry ons. I carry on only what is needed and check the rest.
Now on the way to disney I may have once suitcase inside of another but coming home we will diffently use two bags each. That is just a plus for flying SWA.

but if you call 1-866-599-0951 when you get your DME packet, they'll send more. And, you do know you don't need the yellow DME tags for the trip home.

If it's only an issue with flying home, then it doesn't matter how many tags you get. The tags are only used heading TO Disney.

I too am flying on Southwest and was questioning the same thing. When I received my ME luggage tags there were two for each person. However, I have found in the past that if you have any problem with what you receive you can call the ME phone number and they will mail another luggage tag to you. A trick that I do to minimize luggage is to pack one bag flying down for each person and pack a fold up duffle bag in one of the suitcases. Then on the return trip we put all the goodies we have purchased during that trip into the duffle bag for the return. I also unpack my luggage the first day there and have everyone throw their dirty clothes into a plastic garbage bag in their own personal suitcase each day with a fabric softner in the bag. By the end of the trip we are all packed to go home, don't have dirty clothes lying about the room and just have to pack up the purchases we made into the duffle bag! Hope you have a wonderful trip!

Thank you all for helping me. I did call ME and they said no problem just call 4-5 weeks before the flight and they will send more out. I heard that POR now does ME for the way home too. Does anyone know if this is true? Thanks again!

You can use ME for your trips to and from WDW no matter what airline you use.
SWA now participates in RAC from most of the Disney resorts. You will be able to use RAC for your return trip.
Just a side note, I made a copy of my luggage tags on my color printer and just attached that to my second suit case. It worked just fine.
