ME question

We have family that lives in Florida and will be visiting them for Thanksgiving, BUT we decided to fly in earlier and take advantage of a little magical park time! My sister is flying in with us, but my brother will pick her up that night and bring her to his house (she's skipping the Disney part - can you believe that?). Anyway, she wants to come to our hotel (the Polynesian) and have dinner with us since we are arriving around 4pm and my brother won't be able to come for her until 8pm anyway.

Simple enough, but we have Magical Express to the Poly. I checked Mears to see if she can pay for the shuttle, but their website says ME is provided to Disney guests at no charge, but since she's not a Disney guest, she won't have a ME reservation!

What can we do to get her to the hotel with us? I would hate to have her take her own taxi or wait at the airport! Does anyone know if ME will let her come with us or is there any other shuttle?

She can still take a Mears shuttle .They sometimes just end up putting them on the ME bus .But sometimes also put them in a van.

I'm not sure since they changed the location of ME over to the B side.

Is there depending on how many nights you are staying and the amount of people in the room you might be able to add her on the ressie and then she could take ME.

I can't add her on the reservation because we have a package with DDP and on Mears page, it says ME is free for Disney resort guests, so there is no where to price the transfer. I'll try as a PP suggested and call them directly! Thanks!

Just go to the Mears desk when you get to MCO. I think there is one next to the DME desk. You'll pay for a voucher and will probably be transported on a DME bus.

1. Mears' Shuttle one way from MCO to Disney resorts costs about $18.

2. If you are not commingled with ME guests, your shuttle will usually take a more circuitous route, making more stops.

3. Sometimes Mears has unadvertised coupon specials, hint hint, but never/don't ask/tell/point out/remind the Mears desk clerk what I just said; let him volunteer that information if applicable that day.
